LLB (Hons) Member of the Family Law Panel Shahid is a director and head of the family department. He has extensive experience in private client work, specialising in all areas of family and children law. As a member of the Family Law Panel, Shahid is an ambitious legal practitioner, self-motivated with a will to make a difference for every client. Shahid qualified in 2010 after obtaining his LLB hons degree from Hertfordshire University and completing his LPC at College of Law London. He is regularly instructed in dealing with complex cases, often with an international element or containing sensitive issues such as domestic abuse.

Davinder is a Director / Solicitor of the firm, who specializes in Family Law and Private Clients. His approach has been described as client-facing, caring, yet sharp and tenacious. He started his career at a renowned London firm, prior to becoming a partner and then joining our firm. Through his approach, he has gained recognition as a specialist in family divorce, matrimonial finance, and private children law. Davinder’s primary areas of expertise are-

  • Divorce and Ancillary matters.
  • Matrimonial Mediation.
  • Financial matters.
  • Children’s matters, including application for prohibited steps and specific issue orders.
  • Separation Agreements & Disputes.
  • Domestic Violence and Non-Molestation applications.
  • Pre-nuptial and Post-nuptial Agreements.
  • Wills, Lasting Power of Attorney, and Court of Protection work.

Davinder has a wide knowledge and experience in family law and is able to advise on all aspects of family law including separation and/or divorce, advice in connection with children arrangements, and also financial aspects following a separation. He understands that going through a separation is a very difficult process, and takes a non- onfrontational and conciliatory approach. He adopts a client caring sensitive approach to all cases in order to achieve the best outcome for his clients, yet remains forthright and results-driven. Davinder always encourages matters to be settled outside of Court where possible in order to keep costs to a minimum. He will however advise accordingly on each individual case, and if it is necessary to proceed to Court, then Davinder is more than equipped to take necessary instructions to initiate proceedings and to successfully represent his clients to a favorable outcome.

Peter Masniuk

Peter is a practising member of the Bar of England and Wales. He was called to the Bar in 1983. Since 2003, Peter practised law as a general Common Law barrister specialising in all aspects of Family Law, from Children (private and public law) to Financial Remedy (Divorce) but with experience in Crime, Landlord and Tenant, Property, Personal Injury, Contract and Negligence.

Kayesha Vekaria

Kayesha is a Solicitor specialising in Family Law and Private Client. Kayesha has wide knowledge and experience in Family Law and is able to advise on issues surrounding separation and/or divorce, settlement of finances arising out of separation/divorce, children matters and domestic violence.

 Kayesha is also able to advise regarding probate applications and drafting Wills. She also has experience in dealing with Court of Protection matters such as applying for deputyships. Kayesha understands that the legal process can be overwhelming and daunting when dealing with family conflicts and provides tailored advice to help you through those difficult and stressful situations. 

She approaches each case with sensitivity and empathy and ensuring she deals with matters in a realistic and practical way to achieve the best outcome for you.

Gurusahiba is a paralegal and dedicated advocate with a focused interest in Family Law. Working closely with clients during some of life’s most challenging moments, she provides clear, compassionate, and strategic advice on a range of family matters, including divorce, child arrangements, domestic abuse, and financial settlements.

Gurusahiba has developed a strong reputation for her calm approach in emotionally challenged cases and attention to detail in both written and oral advocacy.

With a strong foundation in both legal theory and courtroom practice, Gurusahiba is committed to upholding the rights of individuals, ensuring their voices are heard and interests protected throughout every stage of the legal process.

With a deep understanding of document preparation, and case management, Masuma plays an integral role in ensuring that each case is handled with care and attention to detail. Her expertise in preparing court documents, completing legal aid applications, and communicating with clients makes Masuma a vital part of the team.

Meet Sandra Wysocka-Shah, a legal enthusiast and aspiring solicitor. Sandra graduated with honours in LLB Law and currently pursuing a Law master’s degree. Additionally, Sandra is on her way to becoming a solicitor with her upcoming LPC qualification. Passionate about the intricacies of the legal field, Sandra is eager to contribute her knowledge and skills to the success of the Morgan Wiseman Solicitors team.

Mohammed Uddin

Mohammed has been with the firm for over 7 years. He has maintained exceptional client care throughout the years and has received lots of positive feedback and reviews from clients. 

Mohammed has experience in all aspects of Family and Children Law. He has assisted clients in relation to injunctions, emergency orders concerning domestic abuse, private law proceedings, parental responsibility orders, transfer of tenancy applications and applications authorising an officer of the court or a constable to take charge of the safe delivery of a child. Mohammed is known to be a fierce court advocate who is able to make robust submissions to achieve desired outcomes for clients in various types of hearings.

Mohammed is currently managing the firm’s operations and billing departments to ensure consistency at the highest level. Mohammed also has experience in dealing with divorce and financial remedy proceedings up to and including first appointment, FDR and final hearings.

Satwant holds an LLM Legal Practice (with Distinction) and a First Class LLB (Hons) degree from the University of Hertfordshire. During her studies, Satwant was honoured to be nominated for the Outstanding Law Student Award at the Dean’s Awards 2022, and for the Resilience in the Face of Adversity Award in 2023.

Satwant is passionate about helping people and dedicated to supporting clients through their most challenging times. She understands how court proceedings can impact individuals both physically and emotionally, and she strives to approach every case with empathy, professionalism, and care.

Satwant’s long-term career aspiration is to pursue a specialism in family law, where she can continue to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

Naveed obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LLB Hons) from the University of Hertfordshire, graduating with Upper Second-Class Honours in 2022. He subsequently completed the Legal Practice Course alongside a Master of Laws (LLM) at the same institution, further enhancing his academic and practical understanding of the legal profession.

Naveed specialises in Family Law, with particular expertise in matters concerning domestic abuse and children proceedings. His practice encompasses advising and representing clients in applications for Non-Molestation Orders, Occupation Orders, and Child Arrangements Orders.

Demonstrating strong advocacy skills, Naveed frequently conducts his own representation in proceedings brought under the Family Law Act 1996 and the Children Act 1989, ensuring that his clients’ interests are advanced with diligence, empathy, and professionalism.

Naveed is currently in the final stages of his training contract and is on course to qualify as a Solicitor in early 2026. His commitment to achieving the best outcomes for his clients and his meticulous approach to case preparation underpin his growing reputation within the field of Family Law.

She completed her LLB (Hons) at the University of Hertfordshire with First Class Honours and was awarded the Judges’ Prize in 2024 for outstanding academic performance. Her strong legal foundation, combined with her client-focused approach, makes her a valuable member of the team.

SUSMITA DHAUBHADEL

ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT

Susmita is an Accounts Assistant at Morgan Wiseman Solicitors. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration In Banking & Insurance (BBA-BI) from Pokhara University, Nepal. She has also completed Level 3 Digital Assistant Accountant from the Institute of Financial Accountants(IFA). 

After working her way up from various customer service & Cashiering roles in other companies, she now works as an accounts assistant for Morgan Wiseman Solicitors. 

She enjoys the challenges presented within her role and her main duties include looking after the client account, bank reconciliation, invoicing & payments, assisting the finance manager in handling financing procedures within the firm, and ensuring compliance with Solicitor Account Rules.
